The challenge to copy nature and establish oral harmony is a thoroughly complex issue, particularly when it comes to anterior restorations. The knowledge about the interplay of shape, function, surface structure, and shade build-up of natural teeth is the basis for aesthetically appealing restorations. Not only an eye for the detail, but also for the whole, is required to achieve optimum restorative results. The complexity of many of the cases with which dental technicians are faced and the host of possibilities offered by the IPS e.max system require expert knowledge.
