Ivoclar Vivadent has just completed the last in a series of meetings exploring the techniques of advanced all-ceramic restorations. More than 100 delegates attended each meeting – all of whom returned home with valuable information.

Leading dental ceramist, Rob Lynock, offered an insight into the IPS e.max all-ceramic system and detailed the methods behind shade taking and ingot selection, presenting cases involving multiple and single tooth restorations.

The foundation for successful restorations involving IPS e.max Press is accurate anatomic waxing. Rob, whose own dental laboratory specialises in metal-free restorations, explained the significance of this technique.

He also introduced new advancements in the IPS e.max system and explained the benefits of the new materials available. 

In addition to Rob’s presentation, the meetings featured Dental Photography Made Simple with Richard Egan, and included tips on how to produce great dental photography every time.
